Elite Performance Training

EPT Trainers

Thomas Allen

Thomas Allen is one of the premier performance trainers in the North Texas region. His clients are not looking for just exercise & an revenue for physical activity… they want to be challenged to go to the next EXTREME plateau of their performance.

Though Thomas’ knowledge of plyometric, speed, strength & ability skills, Elite Performance Training develops athletes to far exceed their peers. here are a couple of testimonials from some athletes that you can see on Saturdays:

Rice University CB, Malcolm Hill, was one of the first EPT athletes. Within the first 2 weeks of being on Rice’s campus, he was asked by his football coaches to workout with the upperclassmen…. to get him ready to play as a true freshman.Boise State RB, Jay Ajayi, was also one of the first athletes to of through EPT’s training. One of Jay’s main areas of concern was sharpening his footwork. After training with EPT, Jay now states, “training with EPT increased my breakaway speed tremendously”. You can see him on Saturday’s getting after it as well.

Lauren Caraway

As an athlete, it has been instilled in Lauren about the constant desire to continue to push herself mentally & physically. She’s carried this mentality with her through high school and college. Lauren graduated with a B.S. degree in Kinesiology, focusing on athletic training and nutrition from Texas Woman’s University. Her prior focus was physical therapy, where she gained experience in prescribing exercise programs for fellow colleagues and senior citizens (some of which were diagnosed diabetics). She completed 350 hours of internship at the Craig Ranch Peak Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine clinic. From there, she decided to focus specifically on athletic training and obtained additional certifications through the National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF) and National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association (NESTA). To further her education she aspires to complete the NASM Performance Exercise Specialist certification (PES) and Functional Movement Screening certification (FMS). She insists on being knowledgeable of the latest and most efficient forms of training and evaluation. While strength and endurance training is her main focus, her other areas of expertise include functional and corrective exercise, self-myofascial release and weight loss/body fat reduction with an emphasis on balance and stability. She’s been known to be quiet and reserved, but the gym is her playground. If a client comes with a specific goal she takes it as a challenge. Lauren is committed to and fully capable of ensuring success no matter the goal as her many success stories can attest.

Lauren Novak

Hello! My name is Lauren and I became a trainer because I care about the health and fitness of those around me. I believe that I can help people change their lives. Healthy eating and exercise is about so much more than the way you look; it’s about treating yourself the way you deserve to be treated and respecting your body. Healthy living requires discipline and can be a challenge in our fast-paced society. I want to work with people to overcome their personal challenges and reach their fitness goals.  I strive to create a fun environment while educating clients on proper form and technique to ensure a safe workout. My style of training depends on the goals of the client, although functional, strength, and flexibility training are my favorites. I have my Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Baylor University and my Masters of Art in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University. I am a licensed professional counseling intern and work part-time as a therapist in Dallas. I have taught group training classes part-time for 8 years (since 2006) and began individual training in July of 2013. I believe that the mind and the body are closely related and should be equally taken care of.
